Myself and Josh met online at the end of 2011 through the website Authonomy which was a site for writers that was set up by HarperCollins.
Josh spammed me to read his book (which I did and it was good).
He added me as a friend on the site, but we didn’t really talk much for the first two/three months.
Then on New Years’ Eve I sent out a message to all of my friends on the site wishing them a happy 2012.
Josh had been at a party and left early because he wasn’t having fun.
I was supposed to be at a party, but pretended I was sick so I wouldn’t have to go.
So after I sent out the message, he responded.
And then the coversation spiralled out of control and we just never stopped talking.
